Twenty-three enclosed CoreXY 3D printers are shipping now, from eight brands, and Prusa Research has two more announced. Their US launch prices run from $299.99 for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon to $3,799 for the Bambu Lab H2D Pro, and twelve have an actively heated chamber. The table lists all 25, newest release first.

The Status column marks the two announced models, the Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX and Prusa CORE One L+ INDX. Neither has a release month, so both sort last. So do three shipping printers with no recorded month: the H2D Pro, QIDI Max4 and QIDI Q2C. A dash means the maker publishes no figure.

Which enclosed CoreXY printers are available in 2026?

Twenty-three enclosed CoreXY printers are shipping in 2026. Bambu Lab makes seven of them. Creality and QIDI make four each; Anycubic, Elegoo and Prusa Research two each; Flashforge and Sovol one each. Prusa Research has two more announced: the CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX and CORE One L+ INDX, tool-changer versions of its shipping pair.

Seven of the 23 have a 2026 release month:

The oldest still shipping are the Bambu Lab P1S and Creality K1 Max, both released in July 2023.

The median launch price is $849. Five launched at $499 or less: the Elegoo Centauri Carbon ($299.99), the Centauri Carbon 2 and QIDI Q2C ($399 each), and the QIDI Q2 and Sovol Zero ($499 each). Eight launched above $1,000. The two highest are the Bambu Lab H2C at $2,399 and the H2D Pro at $3,799. The $3,799 includes the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT filament units.

Build volumes run from the Sovol Zero’s 152.4 × 152.4 × 152.5 mm to the QIDI Max4’s 390 × 390 × 340 mm. Large enclosed 3D printers narrows the field to beds of 300 mm a side and up.

The two INDX models carry Prusa’s INDX tool changer for up to eight tools. Prusa prices both in euros only, so neither has a US launch price. Each keeps the passive chamber rating of the printer it is built on: 55 °C for the CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX and 60 °C for the CORE One L+ INDX. Upcoming 3D printers tracks every announced model.

Why are most enclosed printers CoreXY?

A CoreXY printer drives the toolhead in X and Y and lowers the bed only in Z, so the enclosure can fit closely around the build volume. A bedslinger slides its bed front to back and needs room for that travel inside any box. Of the 25 shipping enclosed printers in the database, 23 are CoreXY.

Flashforge’s CoreXY vs bedslinger explainer says a bedslinger “requires additional front-to-back operating space because the build plate travels along the Y-axis,” while a CoreXY “usually keeps its main movement inside a box-like frame.” Prusa Research gives an example from its own range. Its CoreXY CORE One is “30% smaller than the MK4S,” Prusa’s open bedslinger, yet “boasts a 30% larger build volume.” Tom’s Hardware’s review found that the CORE One “takes up much less space than an enclosure for a MK4S.”

The two shipping exceptions are the FLSUN S1 Pro delta and the Snapmaker Artisan, a bedslinger that comes with enclosure panels plus laser and CNC (computer numerical control) modules. Among discontinued models, the Snapmaker J1s is an enclosed IDEX (independent dual extruder) printer. Enclosed 3D printers lists all 25 shipping enclosed models, these two included.

The pattern also holds in reverse: 23 of the 31 shipping CoreXY printers are enclosed, against one of the 20 shipping bedslingers. CoreXY 3D printers covers all 31, open-frame models included, and CoreXY vs bedslinger vs delta explains how each layout moves.

How do the chambers on enclosed CoreXY printers differ?

Twelve of the 23 shipping models have an actively heated chamber: ten rated 65 °C, and the Creality K2 Pro and K2 Plus at 60 °C. The other 11 are passive enclosures, warmed only by the bed and hotend. Three of those state a chamber figure between 50 and 60 °C, and eight publish none at all.

By chamber type and maker rating:

  • Actively heated, 65 °C (10): the Bambu Lab X2D, H2S, H2D, H2C and H2D Pro; the QIDI Q2, Plus5 and Max4; the Anycubic Kobra S1 Max; and the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro.
  • Actively heated, 60 °C (2): the Creality K2 Pro and K2 Plus.
  • Passive with a stated rating (3): the Prusa CORE One L+ at 60 °C, the Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) at 55 °C and the Bambu Lab P2S at 50 °C.
  • Passive with no published figure (8): the Bambu Lab P1S, Creality K1 Max and K2, Anycubic Kobra S1, Elegoo Centauri Carbon and Centauri Carbon 2, QIDI Q2C and Sovol Zero.

Heated-chamber models launched at $499 to $3,799, with a median of $1,049; the cheapest is the QIDI Q2. Passive models launched at $299.99 to $1,999, with a median of $549.

An active rating and a passive one are different kinds of number. The active figure is the most the heater will hold. A passive figure is what the enclosure reaches from bed heat: Bambu Lab advertises a 50 °C chamber on the P2S, and its FAQ says the printer “does not have an active chamber heating function.” The heated chamber guide explains how to compare ratings across brands. Chamber temperature specs sorts every enclosed printer by stated chamber temperature, discontinued models included.

The chamber matters most for engineering filaments. Bambu Lab’s filament guide singles out four plastics and their fiber-filled grades: ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate), polycarbonate (PC) and nylon (PA). It says they “require higher heatbed and chamber temperatures to suppress warping and layer separation,” and its printer column for them names enclosed models, including the passive P1S and P2S. Materials that need an enclosure goes through each filament.

Where do the figures come from?

Every row comes from that printer’s record in the database, which cites the maker’s spec page or press coverage and carries a last-verified date. Chamber ratings and top speeds are the makers’ own figures, not measurements. Each price is the US launch price of the base configuration, and release months come from the maker’s announcement or first shipments.

The methodology page sets out the sourcing rules.
