Bambu Lab printers differ mainly by series: open-frame A-series bedslingers from $299, enclosed P-series CoreXY printers (the shipping P1S and P2S) from $549, the dual-nozzle X2D with a heated chamber at $649, and the larger H2 series from $1,249. The table lists all 13 Bambu Lab printers in the database, ten shipping and three discontinued, cheapest launch price first.

The table adds what the Bambu Lab brand page leaves out: chamber rating, stock nozzle, nozzle count, claimed flow, multi-material system and laser option. Prices are US launch prices for the printer alone, without an Automatic Material System (AMS) unit unless the record says one is included. Street prices move after launch, so check a retailer for today’s price.

How do Bambu Lab printers differ?

Bambu Lab sells four series. The A series are open-frame bedslingers from $299. The shipping P series are enclosed CoreXY printers from $549. The X2D adds a 65 °C heated chamber and two nozzles for $649. The H2 series brings a build volume over 300 mm, a 350 °C hotend and an optional laser, from $1,249.

  • A series (A1 mini, A1, A2L): open-frame bedslingers with a 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle, a 300 °C hotend, 28 mm³/s of claimed flow and an optional AMS lite. The A2L also takes full AMS units, up to 19 colors.
  • P series (P1S, P2S, discontinued P1P): CoreXY printers with a 256 mm build cube. The P1S is enclosed with a stainless steel nozzle. The P2S adds a hardened steel nozzle, 40 mm³/s of claimed flow and a 50 °C chamber rating with no heater.
  • X series (X2D, discontinued X1-Carbon and X1E): enclosed CoreXY printers with hardened steel nozzles. The X2D is the only one with two nozzles.
  • H2 series (H2S, H2D, H2C, H2D Pro): larger CoreXY printers with a 65 °C heated chamber, a 350 °C hotend and an optional laser module. The H2S has one nozzle; the H2D, H2C and H2D Pro have two.

What are the bed sizes of Bambu Lab printers?

Bambu Lab printers come in four build sizes. The A1 mini prints 180 × 180 × 180 mm. The A1, P1S, P2S and X2D print about 256 mm per axis. The A2L reaches 330 × 320 × 325 mm. The H2 series prints 305 to 340 mm wide, with the H2S largest at 340 × 320 × 340 mm.

The H2D and H2D Pro print 325 × 320 × 325 mm and the H2C 305 × 320 × 325 mm. On the H2D, Bambu Lab’s wiki gives a smaller area for prints that use both nozzles: 300 × 320 mm, up to 320 mm tall.

The X2D lists 256 × 256 × 260 mm, and the discontinued P1P, X1-Carbon and X1E share the 256 mm cube. The build volume topic explains how bed size limits the parts you can print.

Which Bambu Lab printers have a heated chamber?

Five shipping Bambu Lab printers have an actively heated chamber, each rated to 65 °C: the X2D, H2S, H2D, H2C and H2D Pro. The discontinued X1E had one too, rated to 60 °C. The P2S lists a 50 °C chamber rating, but Bambu Lab’s store says it has no active heating.

The discontinued X1-Carbon’s record also lists a 60 °C chamber, but its enclosure is passive. The P1S is enclosed with no chamber rating. The A-series printers are open frame, so their chamber column shows a dash. The chamber temperature list compares these ratings across every brand.

Which Bambu Lab printers can print ABS and carbon fiber?

Bambu Lab’s filament guide lists an enclosed printer for ABS, ASA, PC (polycarbonate) and nylon. It calls for a hardened steel nozzle on carbon-fiber-filled filaments such as PETG-CF. Among shipping models, the P2S, X2D, H2S, H2D and H2C come with both an enclosure and a hardened steel nozzle.

The H2D Pro ships enclosed with a tungsten carbide nozzle. The P1S is enclosed but has a stainless steel nozzle. The A1 mini, A1 and A2L are open frame with stainless steel nozzles. Bambu Lab’s guide lists open-frame printers for PLA, PETG and TPU, including their carbon and glass fiber grades, but those grades still need a hardened steel nozzle.

How much do Bambu Lab printers cost?

Bambu Lab printers launched at $299 to $3,799 in the US. The A1 mini is the cheapest at $299. The H2D Pro, sold with two filament units, costs the most at $3,799. Six of the ten shipping models launched under $700: the A1 mini, A1, A2L, P2S, X2D and P1S.

Above $700 sit the H2S ($1,249), H2D ($1,899) and H2C ($2,399). On the A1 mini and A1, the combo with an AMS lite added $160 at launch: $459 and $559. The discontinued X1-Carbon launched at $1,199 and the X1E at $2,499.
