Thirty-nine shipping 3D printers in the database launched at $1,000 or less. The table lists them highest launch price first, so it opens with what the top of the budget buys: the Snapmaker U1 at $999, then the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro at $949. All figures are US launch prices for the base configuration, without multi-material units.

By band, 17 launched between $500 and $1,000, 14 between $300 and $500, and 8 at $300 or less. The cheapest is the Creality Ender-3 V3 SE at $199. The 3D printers under $400 list covers the low end in more detail.

What 3D printers are under $1,000?

Thirty-nine shipping printers launched at $1,000 or less, from the $199 Creality Ender-3 V3 SE to the $999 Snapmaker U1. Seventeen sit between $500 and $1,000. Fourteen of those are CoreXY, and 10 are enclosed or have a heated chamber. The other 22 launched at $500 or less.

Which 3D printers under $1,000 have a heated chamber?

Six printers under $1,000 have an actively heated chamber: the QIDI Q2 ($499), Bambu Lab X2D ($649), QIDI Plus5 ($749), Creality K2 Pro ($849), Anycubic Kobra S1 Max ($899) and Flashforge Creator 5 Pro ($949). All are CoreXY. Five are rated to 65 °C and the K2 Pro to 60 °C.

The QIDI Q2 is the cheapest heated-chamber printer in the database, with a 270 × 270 × 256 mm build volume. Of the six, the Kobra S1 Max has the largest build volume: 350 × 350 × 350 mm.

Nine more printers under $1,000 are enclosed without a chamber heater, among them the P1S, P2S, K1 Max and K2. The P2S lists a 50 °C chamber rating, but Bambu Lab’s store says it has no active chamber heating. The chamber temperature list sorts every enclosed printer by chamber rating.

Which 3D printers under $1,000 have more than one nozzle?

Four printers under $1,000 have more than one nozzle. The Bambu Lab X2D ($649) has two, and the Flashforge Creator 5 ($799), Creator 5 Pro ($949) and Snapmaker U1 ($999) have four toolheads each. Every nozzle can hold a different material or color.

The Creator 5 and Creator 5 Pro use a tool changer with four docked toolheads. The U1 uses Snapmaker’s SnapSwap tool changer. The X2D and the Creator 5 Pro are the only printers under $1,000 with both more than one nozzle and a heated chamber.

Every other printer in the table has one nozzle, and most take an optional multicolor feeder instead. The cheapest multicolor printers list compares those systems by price.
