Elegoo 3D printer prices: every FDM model by launch price

Elegoo’s six shipping FDM (filament) printers launched at $259 to $2,499.99 in the US, printer only. The Elegoo Neptune 4 is the cheapest at $259, and four more launched between $299 and $399. The large-format Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga (800 × 800 × 1000 mm build volume) is the only one above $400, at $2,499.99.

The table lists all seven Elegoo FDM printers in the database, cheapest launch price first: the six shipping models and the discontinued Elegoo Centauri. Launch prices leave out CANVAS, Elegoo’s optional four-spool multicolor unit; bundle prices are in 3D printer combo prices. This database does not cover Elegoo’s resin printers: the Mars, Saturn and Jupiter series. Each model’s full spec sheet is linked from the Elegoo brand page.

How much is an Elegoo 3D printer?

Elegoo’s FDM 3D printers launched at $259 to $2,499.99 in the US, printer only. Five of the six shipping models launched under $400: the Neptune 4 ($259), Neptune 4 Pro and Centauri 2 ($299), Centauri Carbon ($299.99) and Centauri Carbon 2 ($399). Only the OrangeStorm Giga launched higher, at $2,499.99.

What each launch price buys, cheapest first:

• $199.99, Centauri (discontinued): an open-frame CoreXY printer (the bed moves only up and down) with a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and a 320 °C hotend. Elegoo opened limited pre-orders in February 2025 and shipped from July 2025. Its store no longer lists the Centauri.
• $259, Neptune 4, and $299, Neptune 4 Pro: open-frame bedslingers (the bed moves front to back) released in July 2023, with a 225 × 225 × 265 mm build volume, a 300 °C hotend and Klipper firmware. The Pro adds a two-zone heated bed: the outer zone switches on only when a part is larger than the 120 × 120 mm center zone.
• $299, Centauri 2: the open-frame CoreXY that followed the Centauri in June 2026. It keeps the 256 mm build cube, raises the hotend limit to 350 °C and takes an optional CANVAS unit.
• $299.99, Centauri Carbon: the cheapest enclosed Elegoo, a CoreXY with a 256 mm build cube, a 320 °C hotend and a built-in camera.
• $399, Centauri Carbon 2: an enclosed CoreXY with a 350 °C hotend, HEPA and activated-carbon filtration, a camera and an optional CANVAS unit.
• $2,499.99, OrangeStorm Giga: a Cartesian printer (the gantry moves front to back instead of the bed) with an 800 × 800 × 1000 mm build volume across four 410 × 410 mm plates, the largest in the database. It ships with a 0.6 mm nozzle and claims 300 mm/s, against 500 mm/s for every other Elegoo in the table.

How much does the Elegoo Centauri Carbon cost?

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon launched at $299.99 in February 2025. It is an enclosed CoreXY printer with a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and a 320 °C hotend. On 27 October 2026, Elegoo’s US store no longer sold it new. Its successor, the Centauri Carbon 2, launched at $399 and was listed there at $349.

The Centauri Carbon’s price rose before it left the store: a Wayback Machine capture of its US store page on 7 September 2026 shows $419.99, in stock. By 27 October the only Centauri Carbon on the store was a pre-owned listing, out of stock.

The Centauri Carbon 2 went on sale in January 2026 as a $449 Combo with a CANVAS unit, and Elegoo’s store listed the printer alone at $399 by May 2026. How it compares with the Centauri Carbon:

• Hotend: 350 °C, up from 320 °C.
• Filtration: a HEPA and activated-carbon composite filter. Elegoo does not publish the filter media in the Centauri Carbon’s specifications.
• Unchanged: the 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume, the 110 °C bed, and the claimed 500 mm/s top speed and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration.

What do Elegoo printers cost on Elegoo’s US store?

Less than at launch. On 27 October 2026, Elegoo’s US store (us.elegoo.com) listed five of the six shipping models below their launch prices, from $219 for the Neptune 4 to $2,499 for the OrangeStorm Giga. It no longer sold a new Centauri Carbon.

Printer-only prices, cheapest first:

• Neptune 4: $219, out of stock in both its ribbon-cable and Type-C versions (launched at $259).
• Neptune 4 Pro: $239 (launched at $299).
• Centauri 2: $279 (launched at $299).
• Centauri Carbon 2: $349 (launched at $399).
• OrangeStorm Giga: $2,499 (launched at $2,499.99).

Each listing showed a crossed-out price beside the current one. Only the Centauri 2’s crossed-out price ($299) matched its launch price; the rest ran from $249 (Neptune 4) to $3,125 (OrangeStorm Giga).

The store also sold two larger Neptune 4 models that are not in this database: the Neptune 4 Plus (320 × 320 × 385 mm) at $309 and the Neptune 4 Max (420 × 420 × 480 mm) at $394.
