The cheapest shipping CoreXY printers in the database launched at $299: the Creality K2 SE and the Elegoo Centauri 2. Seven shipping CoreXY printers launched at $500 or less, and the table lists all of them, cheapest first.

Prices are the launch price each maker announced in US dollars, for the printer alone without a multi-material unit. Street prices move after launch. In July 2026, Tom’s Hardware reported the K2 SE cut 17% to under $250, so check a retailer before buying. Speed and acceleration are maker claims.

What is the cheapest CoreXY 3D printer?

Two shipping CoreXY printers share the lowest launch price in the database, $299: the Creality K2 SE and the Elegoo Centauri 2. Both are open-frame and both claim 500 mm/s and 20,000 mm/s². The Centauri 2 builds 256 mm per side; the K2 SE builds 220 × 215 × 245 mm.

The cheapest enclosed CoreXY printer is the Elegoo Centauri Carbon, at $299.99. One CoreXY printer launched lower: the Elegoo Centauri, an open-frame model at $199.99. Elegoo no longer lists it, so it is stored as discontinued and the table leaves it out.

Which CoreXY printers cost under $500?

Seven shipping CoreXY printers launched at $500 or less: the Creality K2 SE ($299), Elegoo Centauri 2 ($299), Elegoo Centauri Carbon ($299.99), Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 ($399), QIDI Q2C ($399), QIDI Q2 ($499) and Sovol Zero ($499). Five of the seven are enclosed, and the QIDI Q2 is the only one with a heated chamber.

The two $499 printers differ in size, chamber heating and claimed speed:

  • QIDI Q2: 270 × 270 × 256 mm, a chamber heated to 65 °C, 600 mm/s claimed, Klipper-based firmware.
  • Sovol Zero: 152.4 × 152.4 × 152.5 mm (6 in per side, the smallest in the table), 1,200 mm/s and 40,000 mm/s² claimed (the highest figures here), Klipper firmware.

The next CoreXY printers up launched at $549, so nothing in the database sits between $499 and $549. The full CoreXY list covers every price.

Which CoreXY printers cost under $400?

Five shipping CoreXY printers launched under $400. They are the three under $300 below plus two at $399: the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 and the QIDI Q2C. Both $399 models are enclosed and claim 20,000 mm/s². The Q2C claims 600 mm/s, against 500 mm/s on the Centauri Carbon 2.

The two differ on what comes fitted. The Centauri Carbon 2 builds a 256 mm cube and ships with a HEPA and activated-carbon filter. The Q2C builds 270 × 270 × 256 mm and lists a 370 °C hotend; QIDI sells its air filter and camera as options.

Which CoreXY printers cost under $300?

Three shipping CoreXY printers launched under $300: the Creality K2 SE and Elegoo Centauri 2 at $299, and the Elegoo Centauri Carbon at $299.99, which is under $300 by one cent. The K2 SE and Centauri 2 are open-frame; the Centauri Carbon is enclosed. All three claim 500 mm/s and 20,000 mm/s².

Firmware separates them. The K2 SE and Centauri 2 run closed firmware, while Elegoo has published the Centauri Carbon’s firmware source, so the table marks it open.

What counts as a true CoreXY printer here?

A printer is on this list only if its record stores the motion system as CoreXY. On a CoreXY printer, two stationary motors drive the toolhead in X and Y through belts, and the bed does not slide back and forth. Fast budget printers sold under other layout names are left out.

The Creality Ender-3 V3 ($389) is the clearest case. Creality sells it as CoreXZ: its page says “The X and Z axis of Ender-3 V3 are rigged together” and calls it “a new benchmark for bed slingers.” Its bed still moves in Y, so the database stores it as a bedslinger. The CoreXY guide explains the belt layout.
