Prusa 3D printers cost $549 to $3,899 on Prusa’s US store as of 27 October 2026, from the semi-assembled Original Prusa MINI+ to the Prusa XL+ with five toolheads. The four Prusa models shipping in the database launched at $1,099 to $2,299: the Original Prusa MK4S, Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2), Prusa CORE One L+ and Original Prusa XL+.

The table lists all 12 Prusa Research printers in the database, cheapest launch price first: four shipping, two announced and six discontinued. Each launch price is the US price of the assembled printer with one toolhead.

Three rows show a dash instead of a launch price. Prusa introduced the discontinued Prusa CORE One+ at Formnext 2025 as a refined CORE One and never announced its price. The two INDX tool-changer models, the Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX and Prusa CORE One L+ INDX, were priced in euros only when their records were last checked on 30 September 2026.

How much is a Prusa 3D printer?

A Prusa 3D printer costs $999 to $3,899 assembled on Prusa’s US store as of 27 October 2026. The Original Prusa MK4S is $999 ($709 as a kit), the CORE One+ (Gen 2) $1,299 ($999 as a kit), the CORE One L+ $1,999 and the XL+ $2,299 to $3,899 by toolhead count. The semi-assembled MINI+ is $549.

At launch prices, each step up the shipping range adds size or capability:

  • Original Prusa MK4S, $1,099 (August 2024): an open-frame bedslinger (the bed moves front to back) with a 250 × 210 × 220 mm build volume. The optional MMU3 feeds up to five filaments.
  • Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2), $1,299 (August 2026): an enclosed CoreXY printer (the bed moves only up and down) with a 55 °C chamber rating and a 250 × 220 × 270 mm build volume. It takes the MMU3 or the INDX tool changer for up to eight tools.
  • Prusa CORE One L+, $1,999 (August 2026): the same enclosed CoreXY design at 300 × 300 × 330 mm, with a 60 °C chamber rating and the INDX tool changer as an option.
  • Original Prusa XL+, $2,299 (August 2026): an open-frame CoreXY printer at 360 × 360 × 360 mm with a tool changer for up to five independent toolheads. The launch price buys one toolhead.

Five of the six discontinued models have a launch price, from $999 to $2,499. The Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ launched at $999 assembled in November 2020; Prusa no longer sells it, and its old product page now opens the MK4S. The Original Prusa MK4 launched at $1,099 in March 2023, the Prusa CORE One at $1,199, the Prusa CORE One L at $1,799 and the Original Prusa XL at $2,499.

What do Prusa printers cost on Prusa’s US store?

Prusa’s US store prices on 27 October 2026 matched the launch prices of the CORE One+ (Gen 2), CORE One L+ and single-toolhead XL+. Of the four shipping models, only the MK4S has moved: $999 assembled, $100 below its launch price. Prusa’s product pages state the prices include US import duties.

The store listed these prices on 27 October 2026:

  • Original Prusa MK4S: $999 assembled, $709 as a kit.
  • Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2): $1,299 assembled, $999 as a kit.
  • Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX 8-Tool: $2,249 assembled, with new orders estimated to ship after 21 December 2026. The kit is $1,949, estimated to ship after February 2027.
  • Prusa CORE One L+: $1,999, assembled only.
  • Prusa CORE One L+ INDX 8-Tool: $2,989, assembled only, estimated to ship after 18 January 2027.
  • Prusa XL+: $2,299 with one toolhead, $2,980 with two and $3,899 with five, all assembled.
  • Original Prusa MINI+: $549 semi-assembled. The MINI+ has no record in the database, so the table leaves it out.

Building the kit saves $290 on the MK4S and $300 on the CORE One+ (Gen 2) and its INDX 8-Tool version. The 3D printer kit prices guide compares kit and assembled prices.

Prusa’s Black Friday promotion runs 22 October to 30 November 2026. It adds gifts such as filament, an extended warranty and free shipping rather than cutting these prices.

What is the most expensive Prusa 3D printer?

The Prusa XL+ Five-Head is the most expensive Prusa 3D printer with a listed US price: $3,899 on Prusa’s US store on 27 October 2026. By launch price, the discontinued Original Prusa XL is the most expensive in the table at $2,499, and the single-toolhead XL+ the most expensive shipping model at $2,299.

On the store, the CORE One L+ INDX 8-Tool ($2,989) and the XL+ Dual-Head ($2,980) come next. The industrial Prusa Pro HT90, which this database does not cover, is priced by quote request.

At the other end, the discontinued MK3S+ has the lowest launch price in the table at $999, and the MK4S the lowest among shipping models at $1,099.

How much is the Prusa CORE One?

The Prusa CORE One, now sold as the CORE One+ (Gen 2), costs $1,299 assembled or $999 as a kit on Prusa’s US store as of 27 October 2026. The larger CORE One L+ is $1,999, assembled only. The original CORE One launched at $1,199 and the CORE One L at $1,799.

The name changed twice. The CORE One shipped from January 2025. Prusa introduced the CORE One+ at Formnext on 19 November 2025 and shipped it in the CORE One’s place from 27 November 2025.

On 13 August 2026 the CORE One+ (Gen 2) and CORE One L+ replaced the CORE One+ and CORE One L at the prices those models had then. That is why the CORE One L+ launched $200 above the CORE One L’s $1,799.

With the INDX tool changer built in, the 8-tool versions cost $2,249 for the CORE One+ (Gen 2) INDX and $2,989 for the CORE One L+ INDX.

How much is a Prusa XL?

The Prusa XL+ costs $2,299 with one toolhead, $2,980 with two and $3,899 with five on Prusa’s US store as of 27 October 2026. All three ship assembled; the owner attaches the five-head version’s toolheads, and a single-tool XL+ can take more later. The original XL launched at $2,499 as an assembled single-tool printer.

The XL+ and XL share the largest build volume of any Prusa printer in the database, 360 × 360 × 360 mm. The XL+ replaced the XL in August 2026 at the price the XL had then: $2,299, or $200 below its launch price.

The XL’s $2,499 launch price matches Prusa’s November 2021 target of $1,999 for a semi-assembled single-toolhead XL, plus $500 for assembly. The first XLs shipped in March 2023 as assembled single-tool printers.
